Durability in the mountains is essential and that’s why we developed our custom made 100% cotton duck canvas with thick ring spun yarn - making it one of the toughest fabrics available. At 10.4oz MK duck canvas is extremely abrasion resistant due to the double ply weave on both the warp and weft. This allows us to produce a lighter canvas without sacrificing durability. All of our fabric is pre-washed and brushed before cutting and sewing. These processes produce products with unparalleled broken in comfort.

Our classic do-alls now come in a still-substantial but lighter and more supple 8-oz organic cotton. With style that is dictated by function, not fashion they have a flat front, slant side-entry front pockets and welted, button-through rear pockets. Garment-washed. We’ve upped the already high testosterone level of our Shop Pants. They still have a contoured waist, jeans-style pocketing, metal shanks, double-fabric knees and reinforced “mud flaps” above the cuffs. The organic-cotton canvas fabric didn’t really need beefing up (to 10 oz from 8 oz) but it doesn’t hurt. Garment-washed. Inseam (size 32) is 32” for the regular version; 30” for the short.
